Show Notes

Public service announcement (with guitar): today is International Clash Day, so I can't think of a better time to release this week's episode, which focuses on Saturday's [15th Anniversary Tribute to Joe Strummer and The Clash](http://www.facebook.com/events/163999037690190/)! We hung out at a doughnut shop with event organizers Ian Lodewyks and Ben Rodecker, both of whom have long been involved with the Strummer tribute events -- Ian as a member of [Sub City](http:///www.facebook.com/SubCity-Dwellers-6034099373/) and Ben as a member of [The Crackdown](http://thecrackdown.bandcamp.com/releases). They're both performing at the tribute this year as well. Ian's part of an all-Clash tribute act called Guns of Wolseley, and Ben's back with a newly-reunited Crackdown, almost a decade after their initial breakup. The show also features Selkirk's finest, The Farrell Bros., as well as The Murder Birds. This episode is brought to you by a special Valentine's Day screening of [Birdemic: Shock and Terror](http://www.facebook.com/events/408106542977972/), presented by our friends at the Park Theatre alongside CINEFILE and hosted by comedian Tyler Penner.
